The World(No matter how far from your backyard)is BEAUTFUL! ;D

Today at 7 am I left the house to bike to Gainsville. It's only about 40 miles to Gainsville from where I live but if you take the right fourty it can be so beautful. Taking this trip I saw a lot of suprising things, though man made there's a giant hole I guess you would call it will 300 foot cliffs and rock, but at the bottom is a gorgeous lake. Of course the place is blocked off but it's pretty easy to get to if you're on a bicycle. Along the way there are a lot of parks and camp grounds but what's the fun in authorized paroozing? Lol. There's a real small town about half way to Gainsville called McIntosh, they have a really great art festival once a year. They also have a place called the trading post, which in all actuallity is just someones yard FILLED and I mean FILLED with stuff. Thousands of things that have been in this yard for years, and since it's always out except for a few things they keep in a rugged old building it's cheap stuff! i spent about an hour or so there today but I couldn't stay much longer then that. Honestly you'd need days to go through this place. A while past that is a local 'grocery' I honestly walked in expecting it just to be a convience store but it's a real cute information center and restaraunt. Being a vegetarian all I could really eat where the sides that came with the meals but they were delicous. I can't remeber if it was before or after the store but you could visit Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings' house, the author of the yearling, I almost stopped by but was in desperate need of water...so it must've been before the store. Another great thing about the trip from Ocala to Gainsville is that not only does it have a bike lane the whole way but the last two miles into Gainsville is nothing but Payne's Prarie, it's a real beauty. Well that's all I've got for today.
This kind of thing was just laying around at the TRADING POST
